Hello again everyone, I know it’s been a little while! I don’t know where the time goes and “normal” life seems to get in the way but I’m back now with something a little different. If you have just jumped in here you can go back to where my journey starts and get the full story.
In this post I wanted to talk about my first two chemo cycles and in part 2 and maybe 3, depending on how long I talk for I will talk about the rest of them.
This time round I decided to create a Vlog as I found it so much easier to just sit and talk about it, so Please check out the link below;
Sorry to use up nearly 20 minuets of your time but thank you if you did watch it, I haven’t watched it back yet as I find listening and looking at myself so awkward.
I wanted to add some pictures of the start of my Chemo Journey for you to see.
This is chemo number 1, it’s strange looking at this picture exactly a year to this date (17th May 2018) to see me just sat there not knowing what to expect or how I would be feeling a year on. I mean my hair is maybe an inch longer on the sides...every little helps I guess! The strangest thing is this picture of the Chemo chair and the whole set up of me hooked up to the drip makes me feel rather sick.
So swiftly moving on check out my 2nd chemo picture below;
Defiantly look more like a cancer patient here but rocking the bald look all the same and I mean that bow, why didn’t anyone tell me it was lop sided? I know they already felt sorry for me having a cold head and all. Also here is an up yours to cancer, 1 to me 0 to cancer.
Thanks to everyone who has supported me in one way or another I cant believe I’m a year on from this date. I’m so grateful for all the love and support I have received, now I just want to keep spreading the word and make sure you all check your boobs/pecs as early diagnosis is key.
Much love (boob love)
